Given the rake of the shade flush with the C pillar I’d suggest the mid-late 1980s Corolla. And this is coming from a current 3 fold Peugeot 205 owner and previous E30 owner.

Does anyone else do this with cars? See a sedan or coupe and wonder what it would look like with the trunk lopped off? Is there a term for that? “Hatching” perhaps?

It has only recently been repalced with “uteing” for me. Ever since Mighty Car Mods made that WRX ute.

I see your post of your Paris trip on the left. If you hop on over to the north of the Netherlands I bet I’ll have one of my 205s around for you to cruise in for a bit. By then the ‘87 205 CTi with the 2.0t swap will be done.

It doesn’t look like we’re going to make it that far north on this trip, especially with Le Mans taking up the middle portion, but we’re still trying to make it up that way if possible so I will absolutely give you a shout if we do.

I imagine the CTi will be a blast when it’s done! Did you ever sell that red GTi?

No problem, I didn’t imagine you would. You’d be welcome though.

And no, I haven’t sold that red GTi. I still own it. Prices are skyrocketing so I have no incentive to speed up selling it. It’s a great weekend car that I use way too little. I did use it for an Oppo meet last summer though.
